Connect Wall Mount Tv components with only Coax?

So I'm renting a place that is halfway setup to mount a tv above the fireplace. They provide a power outlet and a single coax connection on a wall plate above it.

My question is are there any devices out there that would allow me to connect my Tivo cable box, Blu-ray, etc. to some sort of receiver type device and put them in a closet where the cable distribution box for the house is and have that output to the mounted TV via the existing RG-6 wiring?

Being as this is a rental I'm not allowed to pull any new wires or punch any holes in the walls. I know there has to be a solution because almost every tv needs a cable box these days and trying to hide the cable box and cords behind the tv on the wall mount would not be ideal at all.

Ugh, above the fireplace, the place I hate to see a TV mounted the most. Insofar as HDMI to coaxial cable conversion (RG-6) it can be done but you're going to shell out some bucks. Some initial searching found this device: http://www.hdtvsupply.com/hdmi-to-coax-adapter.html . For the number of devices that it sounds like you're looking to put in a closet you're probably looking at something like this: http://www.volutone.com/VANCO-280551-HDMI-BALUN-RECEIVER-OVER-1-COAX-P11052.aspx . I don't know if it's possible to use one that has a single input and have an HDMI switch hooked up to it. I hope you have a plan to get the IR signals from your remote to your devices as well since all of the ones named use IR signals you'll need an IR repeater or a remote that can send RF and has an IR repeater at the other end. Something like my Harmony 890 Pro kit would be able to do.

Dang, I was hoping for something simple that I just didn't know about. Looks like I'll just have to a HDMI cord across the wall. I agree with both that it's not the ideal place for a TV but the room is so small it's about the only option; on the plus side its a show fireplace, that doesn't actually burn anything or produce any heat so I won't have to worry about it affecting the TV.
