connect two WAP s?

Can I have one WAP connected to the internet and then have another WAP which isn't connected directly to the internet gatway but recieve an internet signal from the intial WAP? Basically using the second WAP as a wireless bridge instead of a WAP/Router.

I do not know what is that you call WAP? WAP11 is an Access Point sold by Linksys.

If you do have two Linksys WAP11, the answer is Yes, they can talk one to the other.

However, "Speaking Wirelessly" there is an Access Point or Wireless Cable/DSL Router.

Assuming that you meant Wireless Cable/DSL Router the answer is probably No.

Almost all Wireless Cable/DSL Routers are fix on Gateway Mode and thus can not connect one to the other.

If you have an AP or Cable/DSL Router that can be configured as Client you can use it as a Wireless Bridge.
