Connect PC and Alarm Clock?

Hello

I do not know much about audio connections.

I wanted to play music from the pc and use alarm clock as speakers to listen at night.

The alarm clock has line input.

For my pc I am using a usb dac frome a friend said might work. I am not sure about connections but the item is called audinst mx1.

Can I connect them together and what wire works?

Sorry for english.

if you have a dac, it must have rca out for left and right and assuming your alarm clock input is minijack, you need a RCA to minijack cable. Minijack is the ones you see on earbud headphones and RCA is the red and white round connector with a center pin.

example, do not buy this, too expensive, you can probably get it from dollar store

With the above cable you could use iTunes, XBMC, or Subsonic (or many others I'm sure)

Most of these can be controlled remotely with an Android or iPhone/iPod touch to change playlists or songs.
