Hi, and thanks for reading.

I have an older Sound Blaster Live, I think it was actually a Platinum, because it has the Audio Extension ( Digital I/O ) connector for an I/O card or Drive Bay.

I have 8 wires from the front a tower that I would like to connect to this card if possible. I have googled around for a bit and havn't been able to find any documents that lable the pins, but I have a diagram of the card so you'll know excatly what I'm talking about.

The wires from the tower have little pins that read:

Return R
Spkout R
Ground
Mic-In
Return L
Spkout L
Ground
Mic BIAS

I've seen a diagram a few years back, but I didn't have this card until last month.

Thanks, Mark

You wouldn't be referring to the cale that looks like am IDE cable, like the one on this page, would you?

That cable connects the card to the Live! Drive, pictured here.

Yeah, that's the card. I know what it's supposed to be used for. I was hoping I could plug the tower audio and mic wires into some of those pins, because I don't have the Live! Drive, but I don't think so.

I did see this on another site.
