Connect Dell mini 9v SSD to PC? Adapter?

I have a SSD that came out of a Dell Mini 9v:

I'd like to connect it to my old Dell PowerEdge server using some sort of adapter. Google searching turns up a bunch of old Chinese sites with broken links and weird wireless adapters that don't seem correct. My server has a PCIe slot that fits my Hauppage WinTV adapter but not the SSD.

I searched the forum for "SSD" in the title but the first five pages didn't seem to have any relevant results. Any ideas on how I could connect this to my server and mount it for use? Not too worried about performance; I just want to get some use out of a SSD that's sitting around.

Thanks.

It's looks like a SATA drive. Just hook up power and SATA, and you should be good to go.

dunno the mini-9 (not v) uses PATA signalling over mini-pci-e which is totally incompatible with anything. think like sticking a sata drive wire directly into your pci slot and having it work - i could be wrong for 9v but that is how the stec mini-9 works.

It's not. The typical 8-pin does not connect. It's mini PCIe, I think.
it seems it is a mini-PCI-e connector:

this might also help a bit,
strange you say it isn't compatible with your PCI-e slot as
it should (by wiki at least) be compatible with PCI-e x1 slot..
there seems to be 2 options available, one is an express card (PCI-e X1) to USB converter,

the second is saying that the mini-PCI-e layout is pin compatible with PATA or SATA interface, depends on the card specs,
which means, some soldering or building up some sort of socket for it...,
couldn't find the pin-outs though..

If this comes back in stock:

At that point, it should be a relatively simple matter of connecting to an internal USB header.

As Emulex stated, it does seem like a lot of work for a cheap, POS SSD.

seems like alot of work for a $20 ssd card lol.
hm,
that's a double sided 8+18 pin, 52 pin overall, indeed setting up a socket for it might take a great deal of work, strange they say a 40 pin PATA is compatible with that ? E: it's PATA signaling i.e single-ended signaling, not PATA pin-out!! haaa!.

anyhow, PIC-e x1 doesn't seem to be compatible with the mini-PCI-e interface, with 36 pins overall..
