That is pretty brutal and racist. They are the typical group of blacks who don't believe that a white person can be a positive influence in the black community. But yet they have folks like Farrakhan plastered on their website who is a total POS. If she has got some stones, she should go anyway and sit wherever they allow her. And speak up every chance she can get. I believe you face the filthy and fire at them every chance you get. For a mature woman she's a cutie too. I am sure some of my sistas don't like her on that front either ;).

If this is a private debate, then I don't see the problem. They should be able to invite and not invite who they want.

Likewise a store should be able to choose whether or not black people can shop there, right? Either you have to be for both or against both.

You guys are insane. White women should never be encouraged to put themselves in a middle of a pack of liberal savages! They might try to gay-marry her, or gang-gay-marry her!

Damn Classy, 8 or 9 years ago I would have never thought you saying something like this was possible. Too bad I haven't matured over the years like you appear to have done.

Reminds me of the story where the county wanted to take the political affiliation off of the ballot but the feds sued because they said it would discriminate against black people.

Good times.

I absolutely agree, but if your motives for who you invite is based solely on skin color then they should expect to be called out on it. Being a private organization doesn't exclude them from criticism and ridicule.

Criticism and ridicule, sure.

Connie Stokes is the real winner here. She's either very principled or very smart - which either way puts her ahead of the other candidates, not to mention the district's previous Representatives - and is black for those who vote only skin color. I don't know how the actual debate went, but in a liberal, majority black district she would seem to be the best candidate all around. Not a bad looker either, not that Carter is bad looking.
