It's actually related to another issue that weakens even the Articles of Confederation (i.e., even though it required unanimous consent of the States to amend, it could still be amended with less than 25% of everyone consenting.

The problem with the solution I mentioned in my above post is inherent to the Federal Constitution anyway because it can be amended with only 2/3 of each chamber of Congress.

However, it wouldn't be terrible if there was 1 representative for every 30k citizens and if unanimous consent among them was required to legislate. That way, you wouldn't need a Supreme Court and the charter of the nation could be simplied while still having a federal state with minimal infringement of individual liberty.
