Yes it's official...I'm married! Funny story to go along with that, but I don't have time right now.
I will share all details and pictures will have to be a few days from now, as our photographer has the wedding ones. I will post them though I promise!

And Shaun's, I mean Andre's car is an '87 Grand National. No swing out seats....🙂 Oh and it's for sale btw! 15,000Cnd.

Okay, so here's the story....
We left on the 24th of July, as we had to go to a friend's wedding on the 26th. We already have a little boy who is 16 months who we were dropping off at my sisters for that weekend to babysit.
We basically had a car full of stuff, and I was so worried about forgetting something that Alex (our son) might need, that I was'nt much thinking of anything else!
Well we go to the wedding of our friend, drive the 4 hrs. back to my sister's to pick up Alex, which is another 4 hrs. from our house in Port Moody.
We go down to my parent's house, where our wedding is to be held.
Basically the days before are spent getting last minute things, setting up and decorating the yard where the ceremony is going to take place.
I am about 10 mins. away from putting on my dress on July 31st, when the marriage commissioner arrives...the first thing she says is "Hi! I need your marriage licence" Well my heart dropped! We totally forgot it!
She proceded to say that she would do the ceremony anyway, and if we were able to have someone fedex the licence to us she would come down again to sign all the papers to make it legal.
Our plan was to have a big party for all our friends on the following Sat. Aug.2nd so we knew someone was coming down on the Friday. We had my hubby's sis in law's sister looking after our place, so she was able to find it and give it to her other sister who was coming down on the Friday.
So the marriage commissioner came back and we met her on a street in town, as we were out for dinner, and she'd phoned us on our cell...as it turned out it was outside the legion! Anyway...she was able to back date the papers as she had'nt done any other weddings and she had'nt sent in her year end.
So has far as I'm concerned...we were married on July 31st, 2003!
