CONGRATS to John.....Up to 19K!

Hey, it's a tough job but someone has got to do it. Late night neffing at it's best. 🙂

NEF this. At my current rate, I should catch you all in about 35 years. That is if all of a sudden everyone stops posting but me. 😉

I recall once seeing some guy who joined around oct. 99 who was around 150 posts...That's 2 and a half centuries to catch up! :Q

Does anyone else agree that too much emphasis on solely post counts is detrimental to the forums?

I am just remembering the good old days when the amount of neffing was much less than it is now, or at least a higher quality than now.

I emphatically agree. When I first arrived here, two years ago, the only titles were Junior Member, Member, and Senior Member. It seems to me that things began to decline quite rapidly after the post-based titles Golden, Platinum, and Diamond were added. And now there's Lifer to shoot for. Oh, joy.

John's having amassed 19,000 posts is NOT a reason to admire him. Any baboon with access to a keyboard can make 19,000 posts. John's intelligence, helpfulness, sense of humor, and devotion to this board are praiseworthy. The quantity of posts is irrelevant.
