Upon realizing there isn't much "community" around AT's United Devices team - it's time to post some congratulatory threads.

<edit>
You can check out how we're doing against each other -> HERE
You can check out how we're doing against other teams -> HERE
(16th!:disgust: - c'mon guys - let's get ourselves into the charts& graphs for Top 10~!)

I just installed the client on 2 friend's computers - I have 1 more I'm pretty sure about. Get all your friends to join under your name or at least join TA~!

ps. thanks to MereMortal for his providing of the UD team stats page. He keeps track of all TA DC projects HERE
</edit>

<edit#2>
Guys, it would be nice if people could PM their Anandtech nick's. I know many people are signed up for UD as something completely different. If your nick on AT is different than your UD member name - shoot me a PM to claim your recognition~!
</edit#2>

Congratulations to all TA UD members who've passed the 100K points mark~!

I don't actually venture into these forums much (don't usually have the time and if I do I like to browse Off-Topic.) But it's good to see someone trying to beef up the presence of the UD team in here since UD always seems to get lost in the SETI shuffle. Thanks joinT. I personally have it running on all my systems (3 at work, 4 at home; ranging from a P2-350 to a Celeron 1.3 . . . my team nick is Parrothead btw.) I honestly don't know if it's doing much, but at least I'll always feel like I'm doing a little something 24 hours a day for my grandmother who died of breast cancer and my mother who had a bout with it a couple years ago.

From a purely AT perspective, AT UD owes a BIG thanks to mheroux. I remember he came on board just a couple days after I did last year and installed it on a TON of machines at his office. He's among the top 10 individuals in the entire UD project.

Your welcome, you have definitely made a difference - d00d you're closing in on 250'000 points :Q that's more than 10'000 times my own points tally.

We do owe a big thanks to mheroux - he's closing in on the 8 MILLION points mark... Intel & UD owe him big too :Q check out his stats

Total CPU Time (y : d : h : m : s) | 68:270:04:35:03
(Rank) | (# 9)

Points Generated | 9,555,242
(Rank) | (# 8)

Results Returned | 128,264
(Rank) | (# 6)

between 6th & 9th TOTAL place out of ALL members. We need to find a way to convince more enterprises that idle cycles are IDLE cycles & not using them doesn't save you $$.

Congratulations you guys. I'm only running 2 machines right now. A P4 2.0 GHZ. with 512 Megs. Ram & 60 Gig. HD; and an AMD K6/2 500 Mhz. with 196 Megs. Ram & a 20 Gig. HD. As soon as I can get another Backup battery I'll add my Kid's Computer to the mix. An AMD Athlon 1.0 GHZ with 512 Megs. Ram & a 60 Gig. HD.

I really enjoy helping out in this. I lost a Grandfather, Father & Uncle to Cancer.

Keep up the good work.

Hey!...been a while since I checked out the distributed computing forums....
Good work JoinT getting these updates done!

I joined TA last December and haven't really posted here since it seemed the most interest was in the seti race.
Well, I used to run seti, but switched to UD. (Cancer runs in the family)

Here's what I currently have crunching:
(returned units have accellerated a bit do to upgrades and I should have 3 more slower boxes up soon)

athlon XP2100+
athlon XP1600+
athlon TBird 950
PIII 933
Celeron 500@562

go TA!
