Congrats Michael!:):D:):D

Sorry I'm late, but I've been feeling a bit poorly the last 36 hours. Don't know if it is something I ate, or a bug. Either way I've been in bed and not motivated to do much of anything.

Michael, I just noticed that you were in the top 20 performers for last week at #18. Congrats again. I'm at the cabin this weekend and I suspect some of my fleet are not sending work units. I'm still waiting for marching orders; thus, two ships are still in storage. (did I get that new terminology right?;))

Thanks for the congrats.

JW, a couple of your machines must be down, your output yesterday was less than normal. <not that I pay any attention to how you're doing - grin>

I'm a little bummed, I had a new machine ready to go but the used HD I bought was bad so I have to exchange it next Tuesday. It's just a C450, but it would run SETI and only SETI 24/7 so it would add another 2-3 WU/day. I need to pick up my pace some more, I'm just pacing you and k0bogt. I'm going to replace my C566/850 on my main machine with a PIII 800 in the next couple of weeks and then build another node using the C566.

I'm not sure what is up with Ben98SentraSE, he hasn't done a work unit in the last few days and hasn't posted in a while.

I've switched over to Popular Power on my machines at home. Since they will be paying their users for their completed work units soon I've chosen to changeover to that distributed computing project. It's still very beta right now. When you exit the screensaver it doesn't save the processing it's been doing so it kinda sucks in that regard. There are stats on their webpage but unfortunately I can only get them to come up by clicking a link on my home computer in the start menu. No teams yet either. I'll let everyone know when stuff is updated.

Ben - I'll drop you off the race list unless you decide to do more SETI. Damn, that means I'm in last place. More power needed!

Michael, One machine at the house was not connecting. Had 12 WU's to upload. Now I need to call Ben, my Step-son, to see what's up with his system.

And here I was thinking I was gaining on you big time! I have about 8 units qued that'll dump early in the moring (should be about 12 units by then), but you still have a jump on me.

That's it, I'm back to SETI. :) I've just acquired some major CPU and RAM upgrades for my systems and want to have FUN utilizing them. I've established myself with a little over 100 Popular Power units so I might come back when they get less beta and also when they start paying. Here's what my systems jumped to:

Cyrix 6x86MX-PR166 ---> Pentium 266 MMX (overclocked and running smooth) running Win98SE and GUI2.70. MFLOPS jumped from 21 to 85!!! :) This system also jumped from 32MB to 64MB

P133 ---> Pentium 200 MMX running RedHat 6.2. Thought this was a 233 but would go higher than 200. Much better anyways :)

K62-350- stayed the same

NEW SYSTEM: P233MMX? Haven't got it up yet. Haven't decided what I'm going to do OS-wise with these things yet. This will probably be another linux box since it's only got 32MB ram.

I've got 64MB more memory coming in for my K62-350 so I'd like to run Win2k server on it, but that's also my gaming machine so I will have to measure it out. Next step is to get that other P233? up and running SETI...

I'm back!!!!!
