Haha, dang, I step away from the hardware scene for a couple months, and now I'm totally overwhelmed when I come back.
Well, anyway, I've been seeing alot of the DDR motherboards that are coming out, but I have about 6 gigs of PC 133 RAM
that I don't want to give up on. I was wondering, will a ASUS A7V133 motherboard work with the AMD Thunderbird 1.2GHz 266MHz
Bus Socket A processor? Or will the processor only work with the DDR motherboards. I assume it will work, but I really don't want to order
6 new motherboard/cpu combinations only to find out that I had to get the DDR stuff instead :) Sorry for the newbie question all, and thanks
for all the help.

Yes. The A7V133 board will work with the AMD Athlon 1.2GHz with a 266MHz FSB.

The processor FSB is independent of whether or not you run SDRAM or DDR SDRAM.

No processor makes it mandatory to use a particular type of RAM.....that is a function of the chipset.
