Hi everyone,

So here's my problem. I recently got a laptop and I want to set up wireless for it. My parents are fine with buying a wireless router, but they don't want to spend the money to get our current computers hooked up with wireless cards. Is there a way I could keep my current computers hooked up with a normal router but still have wireless at the same time?

Thanks for the help =)

The wireless routers I have seen have wired ports also.

For example, I have the Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Router. It supports wireless B/G plus it has a built-in 4-port wired switch. I use it with two wired desktops and a wireless laptop.

Sure.
Wireless routers can be connected with a wired connection also. The only thin you'll need is an ethernet cable from the router to each computer that you want wired.
