Okay, at first I was thinking get the MSI K8N-SLI Platinum but heard bad reviews about locking up CMOS and things and such. I looked in to some other things but I just can't find what I like. I need to find something that supports 4x SATAII, works well with an X2 3800+, and I think I might get the 7800GTX most likely from eVGA.

try the asus a8n-e,rock solid stable,o/clocks well.not dfi o/clocks but sane o/clocks.it has a very nice layout and is a fast mobo.i couldnt be happier with mine.i considered the abit nf 4 series as i like abit boards but there are issues galore with them.i almost bought the an8 ultra but check out the forums on the abit site and see.the asus to me is the most trouble free ultra board out there.im happy with my decision and ill look to abit next time around with m2 but also look at the layout on the 939 abit boards, the floppy connector looks like an afterthought or the guy designing it was on drugs.lets see how we could put the floppy commector as far away from floppy locations as possible.they succeeded.the abit board would look nicer in my windowed case but we buy mobos for functionally not the prettyest so asus got my money.good luck on whatever you choose................
i have to update my sig,its my old system i just built another with the a8n-e mobo........
