I have 180 bucks for budget, two choices for me,
256MB PC133 RAM or 128MB PC133 Mushkin Rev2?
thanx for your opinion.

I have been happy with that 256mb of SyncMAX PC133 that they are advertising in the Hot Deals area. Just make sure you have a newer moboard (bx chipset will only see 128mb of it).

I think I should give more information for your judgement, my fault.

Tbird 700
Asus A7V
Creative AnnilatorII

I just wondered, what kind of role does the another 128MB memory play?
what kind of application will show me the difference of 128/256?
how much stableness will mushkin stick bring to me compared with, let's
say, SyncMAX PC133?

Mushkin Rams.

But the only rams which didnt show any errors in a test of the magazin c't (german)
were Infineon 2-3-3 Rams

Get Virtual Channel Ram. It costs 180 I believe from memman.com or kingston. Its the fastest sdram out.

Go for the 256 megs if it works on your mobo. Unless you need the highest quality to boost your bus speed up there. I cant imagine what life would be like with only 128 megs of ram again.

If you setting eyes on the Syncmax SDRAM,

check this out:
ASUS A7V Issues

I bought these RAM from them & am happy about it. Too bad it is CAS3.:frown:
I agree with Cknyc, I'll sacrifice CAS2 for doubling the RAM anytime!
