I'm a little confused... I always thought that Morgan would be the name for the chip, like the Duron or Athlon. Recently, someone who knows a lot more about computers than I said that Morgan was CPU for notebooks.

What is what? Who's wrong here?

Also, could someone just explain to me how the names of these next generation chips go?

morgan is a code name used by amd, just like spitfire was (spitfire was the code name for the first duron)

and when they start making the morgan it will also be called the duron.

Read anand's review of the Athlon 4. It says palomino will be in the Performance sector and Morgan will be in the Value sector. They both might make mobile versions, just like P3 and Celeron2.
