Confused by Gainward naming conventions...

Just trying to figure this stuff out :p I ordered a machine and had the builder put in a Gainward GeForce Ti500 XP Golden Sample VIVO card to hold me over until I could actually purchase a GF4Ti4600. At the time, (re:gainward's website) I figured it was a GF2Ti card - they gave him the option of either 3.6ns or 4ns ram on the unit, which we ordered the 3.6 version. However, I've been seeing reviews of a Gainward model designated Ti500 that is a GF3Ti200 model - and I'm starting to think that might be what I got ;P It's definately a boon if it is, as I bought it figuring it was the inferior model (it was expensive for a GF2Ti, however I figured that was due to the ram). Add to that, that 3.6ns ram really makes more sense in a GF3Ti200 model than an older GF2Ti.

The machine is in fedex's hands right now, so I can't really check it until it gets here. The main reason I'm asking is that I might have a lead on someone to buy it from me when I get the GF4, and it would be beneficial for me to figure out how much to charge ;) Any ideas as to which one it might be?

Thanks in Advance ;)

How much did you pay for it?
And Gainwards names are confusing, but they do list what geforce card it is, geforce 2, geforce 3. It just sounds like the website left off the rest.

i have the gainward geforce2 Ti/500 XP VIVO golden sample card...and it IS a GeForce2 Ti, not a GeForce3 Ti, and mine has 3.8ns RAM. i'm betting your card is the geforce2 model also.

how can i tell if my GF3 Ti200 from gainward is a goldensample. my box does not match any website I've seen but the board matches up and it clocks well...is there any part numbers to look for?
