I want to upgrade my Ati 5450 Gpu.
Bit confused between Nvidia & Ati/AMD.
I'm a medium level gamer,spent around 2 - 3 hrs in gaming.
Having said that ,i also need to upgrade my PSU.
My budget is around 9K-10K[Gpu + PSU].

My Rig -:

processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz.
mobo - Asus p8h61-m plus 2.
ram - 4 gb[1333] ddr3.
Hdd - 500gb.
Monitor - samsung 19 LED[1333 x 768].
PSU - zebronics 550 gold series [crappy].
Cabinet - zebronics[ 2 cooling fans]
UPS - APC 600va.

PLEASE HELP .. !!

what is your currency?

Your monitor is worse than your PSU. Budget for a 1080 monitor and see what you have left for a GPU

If you happen to buy a 1080P monitor shortly then both of these cards will be slow at the resolution. So I would advise to save money and buy a decent 1080P monitor in the coming months. You would be able to play all games but with lower graphical settings.

No sir,i don't have any plans in recent future about a new monitor.
PSU problem solved,i'll go for the corsair 550.Thanks a lot.

But the question still remains, a 7750 or the geforce 650 ?
which will deliver the most in all aspects?

If you have budget then 650.

Actually go for the recently launched & highly efficient AMD Radeon HD 7790 cause as far as I'm concerned it's the best value in that ~10K range, assuming geforce 650 as a probable competitor in that given price bracket !

If your going to game at 1333 x 768 then stick with something cheap. No need to buy a new PSU and a current GPU. There are plenty of cheap older tech you will be happy with. Your apparently on a tight budget and wont see much performance for your $$ spend. Might even be better off waiting a couple weeks for haswell. Less power and will equal a 640-650 for about the same price. Get a whole new processor and MB in the process. Thats all win

Actually i read some articles & threads in other forms also,no offence but good a Branded PSU is must for any GPU & should be equally matched with requirements of the GPU.
So, i was a bit confused about these two[GPU & PSU] things.
Which PSU will match which GPU ?
Although i'm on a low budget but i want the best in that budget.
I'm open to suggestions.

Read before posting man
So you mean the appreciable performance bump should be free of cost :hmm:

Now then do the math yourself !

You failed yourself again.Read the OP multiple times. If the OP has no budget constraint then he can go for 650 Ti boost as well.
