Confused about web hosting/domain registration...

I am about to sign up with AddAction for web hosting, but I am confused about the process of registering my domain.

Does AddAction handle the registration as part of their service, or should I use Cheapnames or GoDaddy to register the domain?

This is my first go at this...can you tell? 🙂

Unless you paid them to register a domain for you which probably did not happen you have to do it yourself.

1) Go to http://www.namecheap.com/
2) On the right enter in the domain you want into the "Search for a domain you want" box then press Go
3) If it's available, complete the sign up process including paying for it.
4) If it's not available, keep searching until you find it.

Let me know after you have purchased your domain then I'll show you how to update the name servers, your web site should be online by tomorrow morning.
