Confused about this interesting rdram memory benchmark in Sandra.

I have a p4 1.6A overclocked to 133 fsb, paired up with 256mb of pc800 rdram.

When I first ran this memory bench many months ago at default speed, and memory set at 100 x 4, I couldn't get a score higher than the pc800 reference point built into Sisoft Sandra.

Now I'm running my memory at 133 x 3, which is still default pc800 memory speed.
These are my Sandra results: HERE

Now i'm able to surpass Sandra's reference point by a fair margin.

Why the difference in score, when in both tests, the ram is running at default pc800 speeds? with the only difference being the fsb?

Does the overclocked cpu speed have anything to do with it?

A faster FSB and lower multiplyer to an extent is usually going to yeild better system proformance.

tbird 1ghz with 133fsb 7.5mult is faster than tbird 1ghz 100fsb 10mult

even if its a small amount, it will be faster
