Confused about memory for A64...

I just got in on the 1GB Mushkin 2-2-2 PC3200 deal for $260. I am planning on putting this into an A64 (939) & Asus A8V system primarily for gaming. Now after reading some posts it seems like timings don't matter with A64?!? (forgive my lack of knowledge about A64, I still have an 1800XP) So would I be better off selling the Mushkin 2-2-2 and going with something cheaper like 2 sticks of this:

Mushkin 2.5-4-4

I probably won't be overclocking (not initially anyway) so I want to get as much stock performace as possible.

Timings always matter. Just not a whole lot. You will get better performance with the RAM you have, than you would with that CAS2.5 you link to. Just not tons better.

Personally, I can't see paying that much for RAM if you're not going to OC. If you have something else you could put the savings into if you return the 2-2-2, I'd do it.

Edit: $260 for 1GB of that RAM seems like a good deal though, so I probably wouldn't bother to return it.
