I just bought a new lcd monitor and it did not come with dvi cables. The connection is for a dvi-d cable. Will a dvi-d cable fit on the video card in a dvi-i slot?

Or what do I need?

Thanks, Leigh

Oh yea.

What I want to run is a dual monitor setup but with both monitors showing the same thing. (Or one not turned on). How do I go about doing this.

Thanks again, Leigh

Yes.

A DVI-D cable is what you need.

If you want both displays showing the same picture, that's clone mode or whatever ATi/nVidia are calling it these days.

That can be configured in your Forceware/Catalyst Control Center.
