Confused about AGP DDR vs SDRAM

Hopefully somone in the know can help me on this. I'm upgrading my system (from an 800 Athlon to a 1700+ XP for those interested). My new mobo (Jetway, well, it's cheap and allows you to adjust the Voltage) allows for both PC133 SDRAM and DDR too (one or the other). I'll be using my current 133 SDRAM to start with.

As some point, I'd like to upgrade my Vid Card. Currently have an older nVidia 32MB (which I assume is 133?). So, the question is a) if I get a new DDR Vid Card, do I have to upgrade the RAM to DDR to?, b) if I go w/ DDR RAM, will I need a DDR Vid Card as well and lastly, c) do these function independently of each other, controlled in the BIOS?

Thanks in advance to any who can help...

System DRAM and that used on the motherboard are completely unrelated to one another.
You could use DDR SDRAM on your mobo, with SDR SDRAM on the video card or vice versa, it's entirely your choice and they operate entirely independently of one another.
