Conflicts in using 2 wireless desktops side by side?

I am using a Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3.0 currently. I was curious if anyone has had any problems using two identical wireless keyboards and mice within 2 feet of each other. I would think they would connect on different channels and everything would be ok. Just wanted to get some input before I purchased.
