I am in the process of migrating my home machine which functions as a
general home computer and a PVR as well, but have run into serious
problems with an apparent conflict between the Hauppauge PVR-150MCE and
my Nvidia 7600GT.
System:
AMD X2 3800+
Gigabyte GA-M55plus-S3G motherboard
Gigabyte Nvidia 7600GT Silentpipe (91.47)
WD 4000GB
2GB RAM
Audigy 2 ZS Soundblaster
Seasonic S12-380 power
Symptoms:
When both 7600GT and PVR-150MCE are installed the boot process stalls at
the Windows screen and never advances.
Attempted:
Works fine with everything BUT the PVR-150
Hangs with everything pulled but the PVR-150 and video
Tried different PCI slots (1 and 4) - still hangs
I am a bit at a loss of what to do here.
I wrote Hauppague tech support and they responded with:
What the heck does this mean?!!?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There might not be enough resources available. See if it's possible to
reduce the amount of memory the video card uses through the Bios. Customers
have stated this method has helped when it comes to lock up or not enough
resources in a machine.
