Confirmed: Renting a Jeep Wrangler

So, I just booked my rental car in Hawaii for this weekend....

I am getting a 2004/5 Jeep Wrangler for a whopping $250 for 8 days....w00t!

You know of course that you are getting the "rental special" 2WD no top (hope for dry weather) and a 4 banger.

You can't get a Wrangler with 2wd. They are all 4wd.

i will be in Oahu. I am putting it on my Amex card so I get the Amex travel protection on the rental.

first off.. no rubicon rentals.
second, BE CAREFUL with the top off... we thought it would be sooo cool with it off riding arond but it kinda sucked. We got SEVERLY burned even though we had been tan already. plus, you cannot hide anything in it if you wanted to park it somwhere and walk around. you gotta take all your crap ooutta it first. Locals know that its the tourists driving the new tj's.
It was fun, don't get me wrong, but it gets old after a while. it was nice riding with the top on and windows off though.
One more thing...
