I think you should put down the crack pipe.

Don't tell me you actually believe that Nascar uses stock cars and therefore imports should be there too. You can believe all that crap about people racing stock cars in WRC and others but it ain't true.

I can just imagine "souped up" supras and other crap in Nascar: after 20 mins of driving you can watch their crapppy 4 bangers exploding everywhere and damaging the real race cars.

Why do you even bother posting this crap? Just to start a flame war? Maybe you should just stick to surfing the net for pron. :disgust:

 
Here we go again. Some people here are just plain idiots. Yes, WRC does look a lot cooler when they crash or whatever, but driving a racecar takes a lot more talent. Those WRC guys race for, what, 30 mins straight at most? Nascar drivers have to race for 3 1/2 hours. Winston Cup cars are 145 degrees inside, not to mention the G's pushing on you. And then add 42 other cars around you. Some people today are just plain ignorant...

you have helluva better chance drive overeight, thought decently powered stock car around an oval,
than jump into WRC focus and do a fraction of a stage at 100mph. You'd wreck the car in the first turn.

But comparing the two is like apple and oranges.
How about this though Le Mans vs Nascar - 24 HOUR race in high speeds, corner, braking and everything. Not just pedal to the metal and turning left once in a while.


By the way WRC is lot more interesting to watch the DRIVING part, not when they crash because they barely ever do. Not to mention NASCAR vehicle have more hp than the sum of IQ of their whole team...

I like and watch them both. IMHO WRC takes more skill than NASCAR, but NASCAR takes a better athlete. Lets see anyone here sit in a 100-110 degree car for 4 hours with no potty, little to drink, and belted in so you can barely move. Your car weighs quite a bit, and you do not have power steering.

oh, and you only get a 15 second break every 45 minutes.
 
WRC==Driving
NASCAR==Racing

If you wanna watch a single car doing it's thing, watch WRC. If you wanna watch 43 guys doing thier thing, watch NASCAR.

They both take considerable talent. Although, even Jeff Gordon thinks WRC takes more talent and is generally more complicated.

I like both of them, but I prefer in-car footage of WRC. 😉

WRC drivers barely ever crash? Have you ever even watched a rally? They have some of the most spectacular crashes in motor sports. Plus I can guarantee you that any Nascar driver would do better than you in any kind of racing there is a big difference between Professional race car driver and ATOT professional Fanboy.

BTW the poll does suck I like both. 🙂
