I am using "yahoopops" to configure outlook to recieve yahoomail, but after doing this, I test it and get an error saying:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'localhost', Server: 'localhost', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F.

anybody knw what that means?

yahoopops says to name me "incoming mail" to "localhost," and I found my smpt server at cox website....

any idas?

use localhost not your server name via Cox. Also, be sure in the settings you enabled SMTP. Right-click the YahooPops icon and go to Configure....then in the Advanced Preferences hive, click on Network and enable SMTP. In Outlook Express (assuming you use that) set the SMTP settings to be use the POP3 settings.
