Configuring TCP/IP on a w98 network

I currently have 3 pc's networked under w98 using IPX/SPX protocol (also used NetBEUI but had problems that IPX/SPX solved???). How easy is it to use TCP/IP and any clues on how to configure it? I would also like to use modem sharing (only 1 pc has modem and dial-up connection) to send email/faxes. Browsing not so important. Any help muchas appreciatus.

Setting up a TCP/IP network is not that hard... and you can share your modem with Windows ICS or some other 3rd party connection sharing software...
