Hi guys, I am new to this forum so appologies if this is not in the correct format or place.
I am having trouble with the RAID's in my computer.
I have setup a Raid stripe for the boot drive in the computer which works fine. I am also trying to setup a RAID mirror in the machine to use for files. This is causing me problems. If I setup this RAID, the computer gets stuck at Pooling DMI data. If I unplug the drives of the new RAID, the computer will boot fine. If however I boot the computer with the new RAID unattached and then plug it in afterwards it works fine.
How can I tell the computer to treat the new drive as storage only and for it not to get confused.
Any help much appriciated.
