Configuring a wireless router as an access point

Hi all,

I recently purchased a WRT54GL to use with DD-WRT firmware as my main router for my home. Things are working fine. The router is in the basement of my house.

I have a WRT54GXv2 that I'd like to hook up on the main floor to use as a hub for other wired devices & to provide better signal for my wireless equipment. If it matters at all, I do not require the same SSID.

How would I configure the WRT54GXv2 to do this?

Thanks.
