You're going to have to provide some more information, please. Did you read the documentation that came with mpg321? Usually the docs indicate which software they require to be present in order to compile, and often provide links to places where you can get such software.

In any case, I just searched Freshmeat for "mad" and it came up with an exact match...go check it out.
