My teacher gave us notes and examples on la grange error and confidence intervals. You're to approximate something like ln 1/2 to a degree polynomial (I can do this), find la grange eror (I can do this), and do a confidence error ( I can also do this...I think).

Question is, does the exact answer (ln 1/2 ) supposed to fall inside the confidence interval? His example confidence interval DOESN"T. Has he taught incorrectly?
