Conference call meetings, most boring thing ever?

As I type this I'm on a conference call training meeting. One guy is rambling on demonstrating new features in some software we use. He's talking on the phone, and demonstrating over an online meeting center with Powerpoint. I swear it's all I can do to stay awake. Does anyone learn anything from this stuff? I sure hope there isn't a test.

oh, i have these all the time too. thats why i have a dual monitor setup. one that is visible to coworkers that always has work stuff up, and the other is for AT and other websites. I spend 90% of my time on monitor two.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. On he goes.

On second thought, I'm not really sure if the person talking is a woman or a man. Quite the mystery. Trying to figure that out is the most exciting part of the meeting.

Correction: Corporate conference meetings = most boring thing ever.

You have 5,000 forms to fill out before you can walk across the hall.

What gets me is, people are actually asking questions now. I have no fricking clue what this guy has been talking about for the past hour, let alone knowing enough to ask a question.

This thing was supposed to be 1 hour. We're pushing an hour and 15 minutes now. I may hang myself from the sprinkler system.
