A Mississippi man allegedly bombed a Walmart storefront Sunday, days after threatening the corporation for no longer selling inventory with the Confederate emblem.

Tupelo authorities caught Marshall Leonard, 61, shortly after he fled the big box store’s parking lot in a car with a giant Mississippi flag fluttering out of the sunroof, authorities told the Daily Journal.

He is accused of tossing a small package at the store’s front door at around 1:30 a.m. as a Walmart employee stood nearby.

“There was an employee on break, and the suspect told him, ‘You better run,” Tupelo Police Chief Bart Aguirre told the paper.

The employee bolted without injury from the small blast that caused only minor damages to the Walmart Supercenter on North Gloster Street.

Leonard now faces an explosives charge.

Maybe we should forget about mental health or psychology analysts when to comes to people that bomb and shoot up classrooms.
With all the cameras in society today keeping an eye on everybody, I'm thinking more of some highly advance face recognition software.
And that would probably take care of the entire problem.

IMO, putting their history with slavery aside, southerners have a lot to be proud of and rightly so. But that bomb thrower with his half-ass bomb didn't to anything to put a luster on southern pride. In fact, he tarnished it badly.
