Conection dropping while Gamming Any Ideas?

Severe ("Lagg spike" i guess) about every 15 or 20 min. Here is the problem ...
When I play Everquest I go link Dead about every 15 20 20 min. and kicks me out of game OR when playing Warcraft III the same thing happens.... lagg then disconect .. however i can not tell that it is laggin everting looks great on my end.
I am Using a Linksys 8 port router and this problem started about a month ago. No matter what comp i am using or OS 98 or XP
