Ok basicaly in my room i have my computer and my consoles. My computer is on our network witrelessly and i wanted to know if i could hook my xbox into my computers free eithernet port and have it also use the wireless to get online. i know its posible to use a computer as a router and conect other computers to the internet through a computer i just dont know how to configure the eithernet conection on my computer to then send the stuff through the wireless card.

sorry if this is just way to easy and im an idiot for not noticing the simple option but i would rather not have to string wire around my house just for my x-box.

first thing's first. you're gonna need a hub/switch and two ethernet cables, or a cross-over cable to go directly from the xbox to the pc. or you can always just buy the xbox wireless adapter 😛

wireless adaptor would run me like 100 bucks. i have the materials. i can make diferent cables if need be but i have a few crossover cables already made. i just need to know how to do it

well, if you're using xp, just go to network connections and go to the connection wizard. click advanced connections and go from there. 🙂
