I wasnt a huge fan of FEAR, so Condemned is much much better IMHO.

FEAR was definitely anti-climactic, but I loved it right up until the last level. Both are great games IMO, though they're quite different.

Wow - I picked this up and started playing yesterday, and I'm finding it hard to put down. Very good looking, very moody, and best of all, very fun. I'm at the farm, just at the part where I fight the guy with spikes (after the onslaught of fat-fvcks with wood planks!) Unfortunately, I saved the game with very low health, and he can one-shot me rather easily. I had to put it down to rest, as I've been playing all afternoon.

I'm assuming I'm at, or near the end, however. 🙁

Heh - I picked it back up this evening and finally beat him.

So, do you get a better ending if you go back and collect all the birds and metal pieces?

I think so, but I'm not sure because I didn't bother. I kind of liked the goofyness of the regular ending.
