Concrete Mixers

So I saw this concrete-mixer and started thinking ... they have to keep mixing in order to prevent the concrete from settling ... so what happens when they park at night? Do they keep rotating all the time? Or do they only load up the concrete prior to leaving for the job-site. In which case, what happens if they have extra?

The clean out the hopper asap after off loading and sit empty at night.

If they have extra they either dump it at the job site or carry it back and dump it at the yard. Once in a while the will sell it again to the next guy. which is a real mess because it is harder to work with because its starting to set. Even if they keep mixing and adding water it will set up in the mixer if left to long.
