I always have a way of missing concerts that i wanted to see that i could have gone to if i knew they were coming and had prepared. Sooo this thread may help with that. What concerts are you going to this summer..or wish you could goto?
 
Not sure who's all coming to town this summer. Any I do go to though, will probably be outdoor concerts. The two popular indoor locations here in St. Louis (Pops and the Pageant) get so d@mn loud that it just sounds like noise. At least outdoors the sound has somewhere to go - to me it sounds a lot better.

i want to go to the dmb concert on july 19 at randall's island (nyc), but the good seats are sold out and i'm not a fan of lawn seats with all that ... smoke. 🙁
 
I'm going to see Copeland, The Academy Is..., Mae, The Killers (WOOHOO so excited for that one), and Coldplay (woot!)

Ones I can't go to: Dave Matthews (Business trip that week, argh!) and U2 (money to be made....)

Just go. I have been to like 5 dave concerts..in both seating and lawn. In my opinion lawn is better. Just get their early so you can get a spot right up agaisnt the rail. You have more space..can move around...much more happy atmosphere.

HmmI am guessing you live in south Pa? I live in PA too. where are you going to see coldplay and killers and when? I didnt think that coldplay was on sale yet.

no use going to street scene this year. ive already seen a few of the bands/groups (unwritten law, social distortion, snoop dogg, 311, black eyed peas, method man), but i wouldnt mind seeing swollen members. but i am not paying $40 and have to use crappy beer gardens just for a band or two. (7/29-7/30)

also, considering going up to hollywood to see talib kweli, rza, and dilated peoples at the vanguard on june 28th.
 
just had a look at the concert schedule....nothing I really want to go see....for the next 2 months at least....


oh well, I am sure Rammstein will make it over here sooner or later...

Actually no, hehe, but I love to snow ski in PA! I'm in NC, gonna hit the Killers up at the HOB in Myrtle Beach, SC on June 10 and then Coldplay in Raleigh on Sept. 10th. I got in the on "downlow" presale. General tix go on sale like June 6th...g.luck! 🙂

Yep, they put on quite a show. Saw them a couple times a couple years ago when they were co-headlining with the Strokes. Good times.

Oh and I saw Muse a month ago.
