I wanted to get this mobo so i can keep my AIW x800 xt.
But I heard that the agp/pci clock is not locked for this mobo, which makes it crappy for overclocking...... but OCing is my whole point :)
Just wanna hear from some users or OCers of this mobo, does it OC fine with the venice core cpus? Is the the agp/pci locked in Rev 2.0 version?

The 2.0 board has fully working locks but still isn't that great with overclocking. It will be fine for stock speeds, but the dividers won't work with any revision E processor and the HT generally tops out around 250-270, which is on the low side compared to newer boards. You may want to look at the Asrock 939Dual-SATA2 instead, which I think overclocks at least as well and doesn't have the divider issues. (not to mention is cheaper and has PCIE as well)

OIC. Thx first.
I searched in Newegg.com and found quite a few mobo's that have agp and S939. As for that ASRock mobo, I heared the performance of that chipset is pretty bad in fact. That, stopped me from considering it. And I trust ASUS more than ASrock.....after all I used quite a few asus boards and none took crap on me.
Right now I have this venice 3200+ and a Neo2, borrowed from friend to test out the OC potential. The weird thing is even though I set the Vcore to 1.550X110% = 1.7 V, from both the built-in HW monitor and cpu-z, the Vcore I get is only around 1.63 V. I guess it has to do with the mobo...that's why i'm thinking of A8V instead, which has a core voltage up to 1.8V.
Man.... hard to decide

my a8v deluxe goes right up to the max of 300HTT, and i have my winchester running at 2700mhz. it is a very good. just make sure you use the PROMISE sata controller (red ones at the bottom) the VIA ones arent always locked. its a really nice board. also, that high voltage is sure to kill the chip very soon. you will only get a year tops out of it. stick with 1.55v
