Concerning a potential paypal scam

I was just surfing the net for thoose surveys my friend told me they pay you to fill out. When I came across this guy, and it seemed interesting nonetheless. We've probably send 10 emails or so back and forth. Im pretty sure its a scam, but Im taking this 100% carefully. Heres the low down:

he sells items on ebay, I've even looked them up too, and that part is real.(laptops, and other expensive technology) however, he wants to take paypal payments. THey dont offer paypal in his country. So he needs me to be the inbound for his customer, in which I will take 15% of the payment and send the other 85% through the bank(this part wasnt to clear) so far thats as far as we've gotten. Im thinking about making a movie about all theese scenarios.

Step away from the situation. Just drop everything.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

The chances that you could somehow be his "savior" for taking paypal payments for him is pretty out there. Not to say it's not common for people to try these things as well as fall for them, but it's still wacky when you boil it down. If he really wanted to take paypal, he could find a way. Chances are he would have found the way long before you contacted him.

Plenty of red flags there. If it's legit, shucks, you lost out on a little money you didn't already have. If it's not legit, there's the potential for getting weaseled out of your own money.

To reiterate, step away from the situation.

run like the plague. as soon as his customers don't receive their laptops and such, it's going to be your balls, not his. He wants you to take the blame for him being a thief.

On the plus side you are getting 15% of the il-gotten gains 😉

Actually he will more than likely ship out the merchandice. the thief part is right as the so called laptops and such are probably stolen and therefore he needs someone to get blamed for it if ever one of the buyers finds out it was stolen.
