Hi everybody,

The only Core2 Duo compatible mainboard available in the place i live unfortunately it's an Intel based on the chipset 946GZ. According to intel datasheets this chipset only support FSB 533/800, but since a Core 2 duo E6300 has a 1066MTs FSB, I'd like to know how will it run?.. will the CPU run slower?, or will it increase the multiplier to reach the rated frecuency?

Thanks in advance.

No, the board caps at 800FSB. You will need the 965 and up chipsets.

I don't think the CPU will be bogged down by that though.
