I think its because he shows how he can screw everything up at an end of a perfect setup or joke, but he's really not fooling anyone with his self deprication becasue he's really a genius. Afterall he did graduate from Harvard University.

no matter how many times they say it i'll laugh every time they have arnold schwarzenneger (sp?) on the tv screen with the fake mouth, and he mentions his
"holiday movie classic, JINGLE ALL THE WAY!"

Yeah, you're pretty much an adult at 16. Much too old to think Conan is funny... 😉
 
I started watching Conan again recently, and I just noticed how he always does the same routine when he comes out as Max 'n crew are playing the intro song. He comes out, does that cheesy little jump right as the song ends, and then does the patented "Conan spin" to the left. Happens EVERY time. I suppose I just "get" him though, because some people think he's retarded but I find myself ROFLing at him quite often. It's too bad he's got the later time slot and his guests aren't always as well-known as the ones on Leno/Letterman. Don't get me wrong, there are still a crapload of celebs on there but he doesn't get people like Tom Cruise every night like Leno can/does.

Anyone that think Conan isn't funny needs to watch the late show with Carson Daly. I don't think he has EVER made me laugh. Homeboy should have stuck with TRL... :disgust:
 
Conan is the man, he does the mic thing because it's funny...as if he screwed up but he usually doesnst.
 
Conan is the best talk show host out there in my opinion, Kimmel has some great content, but some of the stuff conan comes up with on the spot is just hilarious.
 
Conan is most naturally funny comedy host on tv. He is just naturally funny and that makes up for the lack of his show's quality jokes. Letterman and Leno more so have better and funnier jokes, but they aren't as naturally funny as Conan. Carson Daly? Wow, now that is unfunnay.

I *tried* watching for more than a minute ... just couldn't do it. Jimmy Kimmel is good, but not up to par with Letterman/Leno/Conan. I think that the David Letterman show has being getting less and less funy each episode. Maybe its just me.

Conan is awesome. He is very funny, quirky, quick and smart. Not too many people you can say that about. It's too bad he's on so late at night.

Tonight's interview with Drew Barrymore was just great and hilarious. One of the better interviews I've seen in a while, it was just hilarious. His other guests and his interaction with them was very funny as well. Go Conan!
