Con Edison: residential food spoilage claim form

Supposidly food should last 3 days in your refrigerator even in the case of a blackout

That is if you do not open the fridge at all and it all depends on the food products in there.

We had some food go bad... we opened the fridge about 10-15 times that night out of necessity. Still, not enough to bother claiming...

Form says up to $150; ...$350 if you have an itemized list + proof. 😉

Uh, didn't you notice the popup that said the form couldn't be used for claims related to Aug 14th?

And 10-15 times out of necessity??? The power was only out for about a day! Did you need to eat 15 times in 24 hours?

I hope you don't actually expect me to explain myself to you. And no, I didn't see any popups... because I didn't get it from the world wide web. Thanks for letting us know and thanks for playing.
