What will you do with all the money?

Severe brownouts for 3 months, 9 days with no electricity, 2 cell phones fried from brownouts, wear and tear on all appliances, laundry stuck at the cleaners who were closed with no power for 9 days.....

yeah, $3 sounds about right to me.

Blame Karl Rove and his weather machine for creating the heat that caused people around you to use excessive electricity for A/C.

ConEd owns NY, unfortunately. They should have to answer to some higher power as to exact reasons why areas of Queens were w/o power for 10+ days. :|

NYC is arguably one of the most technologicially adept, and certainly, one of the biggest cities in the USA. Having the power company, which makes millions of dollars every month just blow people off and say "Yeah, we're working on it" is inexcusable.

There are things called "contingency plans." They are supposed to be in place for A REASON. ConED failed here, big time. They should be held accountable.

They should refund all of those affected one SUMMER month's bill, across the board.
