I get a "no signal" on my HDTV, which I use as my monitor.

Had a sudden BSOD that I couldn't read, then nada but the system powering up without posting.

So if the MB checks out, it's probably time for a new vid card.

Suggestions?

GTX260 or 512 4870 are the choices at this price point, each has advantages.

That's not that uncommon a price nowadays. Newegg has a GTX260 for $200 after rebate, and a 4870 for around $215. You could find one of either for under $200 on ebay with the Live cashback, too.

It may be the PSU. And either of those suggestions will test it big time. ;)

I'm going to be really ticked if my 750W PC Power & Cooling unit died. I've a spare one so I'll keep that in mind. :)

It was indeed memory. I've pulled the bad stick, and have more on order. Looking into video cards, it seems that the price/performance point has improved significantly since I bought my 8800gt.

Price/performance in the upper echelons has improved, 8800gt was still a very good bang for buck videocard. Depending on what resolution you play it, you might not gain much from spending $200 though.
