That is not even the worst part. My mom works at the county jail and she says that some foriegners come through they ask when are they going to jail because they don't realize they are already there. I long for the days when you were incarcerated and it was actually like punishment.

Depends on the jail though. Keep in mind some of these folks come from countries where "prison" is synonymous with "beatings, medieval-style torture and losing the use of at least one part of your body permanently." While you could argue our prison system has gotten somewhat lax I don't think we should go to the level of Turkish prisons or some crap.

Also, remember this is county jail, not state or federal. The majority of people in jail are there for Drunk and Disorderly, Petty Theft, Drug Possession, etc. Mostly non-violent crimes. I'm sure it's plenty of punishment as far as most of the inmates are concerned.
 
Yah it sucks here with out computers...now me a little jonney my 300lb pimp have to share a computer...but i only get to post after we have "play time" 🙁
