i'm reformatting my parents computers to put xp on them. the last thing i had to do was hook up a printer that wasn't working (hp photosmart p1000). turns out it was a dell/bios problem, so i update the bios. after it's flashed, i press ok and the computer turns off. when i try turning it back on, it tries to start up but doesn't, like a car that won't turn over. i'm like... oh sh!t. i try it a few more times, and it seems to get closer, but never actually does it. i keep repressing the power button several times in succession, like you would turn the ignition key to start an engine, until... it magically turns on. at that point i laughed, and thought to myself, "fvck, that was pretty bad!" now i'm telling all of you nice people, and going to bed. 😀
