Computer won't wake fromy stand-by/sleep mode

I recently built a new E6750e system on an Abit IP35Pro motherboard. Running XP.

Anyway, when my computer goes into stand-by, it won't wake back up when I hit any keyboard or mouse buttons. It is in stand-by and not powered off, as when I hit my main power switch on the PC, it recovers from Stand-By properly (immediately wakes the monitor and goes to a login screen). While in stand by, the PC appears be shut down (no lights, no fans, totally silent).

Any idea what could cause this?
